Our Therapeutic Approach
At the core of my practice is an attachment-informed and relational perspective. Many of the ways we experience anxiety, self-doubt, emotional overwhelm, or relationship difficulties are connected to early experiences and patterns of connection. Therapy offers a space to explore these patterns with curiosity and compassion, and to develop greater emotional security and flexibility.
I also integrate mindfulness-based approaches to support awareness, emotional regulation, and self-compassion. Learning to notice thoughts, feelings, and bodily responses with greater openness can create space for choice and change.
For clients who have experienced trauma or highly distressing life events, I am trained in EMDR and trauma-informed approaches that support careful, paced processing and integration of these experiences.
My work is also informed by psychodynamic and depth-oriented perspectives, which attend to underlying themes, unconscious processes, and long-standing patterns that shape how we relate to ourselves and others. Alongside this, I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support values-based living and psychological flexibility.
In practice, this means that therapy may involve reflection, emotional processing, skill development, and practical strategies—always guided by your goals and your pace.
Clients often describe my style as warm, grounded, and thoughtful, with a balance of empathy, clarity, and gentle challenge when helpful. I value collaborative work, honesty, and mutual respect.
I believe that meaningful change happens not through quick fixes, but through developing deeper understanding, self-trust, and more compassionate ways of relating to oneself and others.
